Sony Ericsson unveil the T707

Eye catching. Two words that accurately sum up Sony Ericsson’s latest mobile phone; the Sony Ericsson T707. Why is the T707 so eye catching you ask? Well at first the T707 could pass as a fairly standard flip phone, albeit a particularly stylish one thanks to smooth rounded edges and exquisite materials used in its construction. But the Sony Ericsson T707 promises to light up your life thanks to a range of customisable light effects that promise to turn your phone into a portable light show.

The T707 allows users to customise light sequences and then assign them to specific contacts within your address book. Give your friends their own unique pulsating light effects so when a call comes in you’ll know who it is straight away! Sony Ericsson claim that with the eye catching light effects, you’ll never miss a call (though you could set the phone to act as a warning device if you’re trying to avoid someone!). Launching in a range of striking colours including Mysterious Black and Spring Rose the T707 is certainly easy on the eyes and just as easy on your pocket weighing in at just 95 g.

If you’re thinking the T707 is a case of style over substance think again; HSDPA connectivity serves up lightening download and browsing speeds, an MP3 player with support for a wealth of file formats boosts the T707’s portable music capabilities and expandable memory up to 16GB should ensure you’ve always got enough space for your music and videos. A competent 3.2 Megapixel camera means you’ll never miss that magic moment and for those occasions when a still image just isn’t enough, the T707 captures video too.

While style and design are undoubtedly the focus of the T707, it’s good to see this isn’t at the expense of the T707’s features. Set to launch in the summer, click here to register for updates.
